Information for Presenters, Session Chairs and Poster Presenters
VIECO 2026 – Vienna–Copenhagen Conference on Financial Econometrics

This sheet summarises the practical arrangements for oral presentations,
session chairing and poster sessions at VIECO 2026.

1. Instructions for Speakers
- Please time your presentation so that at least 5 minutes remain for questions and discussion.
- Please bring your presentation (preferably as a PDF or PowerPoint file) on a USB stick and upload it before the start of the session on the lecture room computer. Technical assistance and laser pointers will be available in every room.
- Please arrive in the session room well before the start of your session.
2. Instructions for Session Chairs
- Please arrive in the session room well before the session starts and check the presence of all speakers.
- Please keep strictly to the schedule. 30 minutes are allotted per paper. Please ensure that some time is reserved for discussion within each slot.
- If a speaker is absent, please adjust the session timing accordingly, while keeping the original start times for subsequent papers whenever possible so that attendees can move smoothly between parallel sessions.
3. Instructions for Poster Presenters
- Please bring your poster with you. Printing facilities cannot be provided on site.
- The poster size should not exceed A0 (portrait).
- Poster boards and all necessary fixing materials (e.g. pins and adhesive strips) will be provided by the organisers.
- On the day of the poster session, please find one of the organisers (recognisable by the "Organizer" button on their name badges). They will show you where to set up your poster and provide pins and tape. Please remove your poster by the end of the workshop day, no later than 18:00. The poster session starts at 12:30.
